CBIS concluded several dialogues in 2010. We concluded our multi-year-long dialogues at Sears and Time Warner since our objectives with each have largely been met. We ended our efforts with Lowe’s and Sony due to due to lack of responsiveness by the companies. We believe we made progress with McDonald’s on the issue of corporate governance, but the company has resisted our request that it declassify its board and we have concluded the dialogue accordingly. We lacked a primary filer at Occidental Petroleum and concluded the dialogue on global human rights standards, although we note that in 2004 the company created a global human rights policy in response to engagement by CBIS and other SRI investors. We terminated our efforts with FelCor due to lack of responsiveness and a shift in issue priority by our shareholder group.
