CBIS is proud to continue our long-standing sponsorship of the Resource Center for Religious Institutes (RCRI) Conference in St. Louis, MO from October 31 to November 3, 2017. We have three key events of note:

  • Welcome Address, co-sponsored by CBIS and Christian Brothers Services (CBS) on Wednesday, November 1, from 9:00-10:30 a.m., featuring Keynote Speaker Dr. Carolyn Yauyan Woo, Former CEO and President of Catholic Relief Services.
  • Our expert panel Child Sexual Exploitation Online: Combating the Epidemic, Trends in Victimization, and the Intersect with Pornography, on Thursday, November 2, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. As child sex trafficking and online sexual abuse are proliferating at astounding speeds, this panel presents a stark conversation about the realities we are facing and the role investors can play in halting the rising numbers of victims. The panel features Tracey Rembert, Assistant Director of Catholic Responsible Investing at CBIS, will be joined by Ernie Allen, a global expert on child abduction, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking, the “Dark Web” and public-private partnerships, and Mary Leary, Professor of Law, at the Catholic University of America.
  • Our Hospitality Gathering with CBIS and CBS on Thursday, November 2, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., in the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt, featuring cocktails, a buffet, and a raffle.
