The initiative is the leading global network for investors to learn about responsible investing and collaborate with their peers, companies, and policymakers to generate sustainable, long-term investment returns for their clients and beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to welcome CBIS to the PRI,\u201d said Fiona Reynolds, Managing Director of the PRI. \u201cCBIS\u2019 participation ensures that its perspective and approach to responsible investment and ESG integration will be more broadly disseminated within the global investment community and incorporated into our discussions and programs with other signatories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to incorporating ESG principles in their investment decision-making and ownership practices, signatories are expected to seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities they invest in; be active owners encouraging those entities to adopt environmental, social, and governance best practices; and promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExtending our commitment to better serve Catholic investors and align investments with Catholic values, CBIS\u2019 participation in the PRI will enhance the effectiveness of our corporate engagement work,\u201d said Daniel P.
