This leadership addition reflects CBIS\u2019s continued commitment to strengthening its investment capabilities and delivering strong outcomes aligned with Catholic Responsible Investing principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Digenan brings more than 35 years of experience in the investment industry. Over his career, he has held senior leadership roles at major asset management firms, with responsibilities spanning portfolio construction, research, and mutual fund management. He has also served in governance roles, including as a board chairman, and has contributed to academic and industry initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has been actively involved in education and thought leadership, including serving as an adjunct professor and participating in advisory boards focused on behavioral finance and investment practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role and Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As Co-Chief Investment Officer, Tom will work alongside John Geissinger to oversee the Catholic Responsible Investments Team. Together, they will be responsible for portfolio management, client service, and the advancement of CBIS\u2019s impact and justice initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will also collaborate closely with the Catholic Responsible Investments Committee, which includes representatives from both CBIS and Mercer. The committee will focus on investment oversight, including sub-adviser selection, portfolio construction, risk management, and performance analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategic Growth and Team Expansion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CBIS plans to significantly expand its investment team, including both U.S. and non-U.S.-based professionals. This expansion supports the firm\u2019s broader strategy to enhance global capabilities and better serve Catholic investors worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strategic relationship with Mercer will play a key role in this growth by providing access to additional resources, investment strategies, and asset classes. This partnership is expected to strengthen CBIS\u2019s ability to deliver a more comprehensive suite of Catholic investment solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking Ahead<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CBIS leadership views this as an important step forward in the firm\u2019s evolution.
