Catholic Money Manager Fills Key Roles with Industry Veterans
Chicago – March 29, 2023 – Christian Brothers Investment Services (CBIS), a leading investment management firm and Registered Investment Advisor serving Catholic investors globally, announced several senior leadership additions as part of its strategic growth plan. The firm continues to expand its leadership team to support increasing demand for Catholic Responsible Investing solutions and to strengthen its global capabilities.
Kerri Shields has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer, effective April 3, 2023. She joined CBIS’ Executive Committee in July 2022 and is responsible for all financial and accounting matters for the firm. Prior to joining CBIS in 2018, she served as Assistant Controller at Navigant Consulting.
Andrea Favaloro has been appointed President of CBIS Global and is based in Rome. He brings extensive experience in the financial industry and most recently served as Chief Business Officer for Asset Management One International.
Michael Jackson, C(k)P, AIFA, CPFA, has been named Co-Head of U.S. Distribution. He continues to lead sales and consultant relations for defined contribution and institutional investors. Prior to joining CBIS in 2022, he spent more than 20 years at American Century Investments, most recently as Vice President and Head of Business Development and DCIO Sales.
Michael Bell, CFA, joined CBIS as Co-Head of U.S. Distribution on April 3, 2023. He is responsible for managing investor and consultant relationships across the United States. Previously, he served as Vice President of Client Relationship Management at American Century Investments, overseeing client relationships in the U.S. and Canada.
Favaloro and Bell join Shields and Jackson as members of the CBIS Executive Committee. Their combined experience is expected to strengthen leadership across the organization and support continued growth in both U.S. and international markets.
